On The Path
Welcome and thanks for visiting. I will be updating thoughts and things I've learned here.
Before reading this page, let me say that I am not a member of a church, a cult,I don't have a guru ( although Pepe Romero comes close), or go around preaching new age ideas to people or students.
The only reason for this page is to answer the question asked by so many people, why am I in such a good mood and how do I keep my spirit up.
These quotes are helping me to stay on the path of inner peace, they've been really helpful to me in the past 5 years. Hope you enjoy.
Do not think that love in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary.
What we need is to love without getting tired.
Mother Teresa,
The most terrible poverty is loneliness and the feeling of being unloved.
Mother Teresa
Love begins at home and it's not how much we do, but how much love we put into it.
Mother Teresa
from James
To the thousand acts of Kindness that go unseen every day!
My prayer is give love to all I meet. I am so inspired by those who do it every day.
You may not see them because they're to busy doing good to blow their own horn, but they keep it all going and thank God they do.
Each moment of this life we can stop and feel the beauty around us and bring our source into harmony with our thoughts. We decide to find good in our world. We are not at the mercy of ouside forces, we can pick our thoughts and meditate on all the abundance and love that is here right now.
If you are reading this and feeling out of sync, I send you hope for a day filled with beauty and love.
This is my prayer for this moment, that you are filled with peace my friend.
A thought for when we are out of sinc and filled with anger or doubt.
Forgivness of ourselves is so important to letting go and moving forward.
Remember that ten minutes ago, is as gone as 1793. Let it go and walk forward.
Give yourself love and know you are growing. We can learn from the discord, by sending all involved love and blessings (that includes you)
Wayne Dyer says,
You are not your body nor are you the possessions that you believe you have.
You are timeless; perfect; just the way you have forever been and will forever be... You are a spiritual being having a human experience.
An attitude of gratitude will take you a long way. Rumi said, "Trade your knowledge for bewilderment."
It is good to be in awe of all that you have attracted into your life. The more you are grateful for
the more of that will flow freely into your life.
Wayne Dyer
All that we are is a result of what we have thought
Buddah,
We are led from a higher source, getting quiet allows our sprit to reconnect to our source
We set ourselves free by finding the good in those who have hurt us
and meditating on the love we have for their good.
As we think of good in those who have hurt us,
the hurt turns to peace. We can move from our chains
of the past to the promise of a joy filled future.
It has lifted so much pain for me that as hard as it sounds it is a path to an amazing inner peace.
(from James Hunley)
These are passages from Dr. wayne Dyers Book "The Power of Intention."
You may have seen him on his many PBS specials.
This teaching has radically changed my life and I want to share some of his ideas. By the way, there is no church, cult, meetings, 12 step programs or donations to groups or organizations involved here. It is a personal path.
His books have really blessed me and the change is dynamic in my life and the life of my music.
I now solely play from love and meditate on the music touching every life I come into contact with by that life giving love that brought each of us here.
I hope that you are blessed this day and here are some of the quotes about abundance that has touched my life.
Step 1: See the world as an abundant, providing, friendly place. When you change the way you look at things, Step 2: Affirm: I attract success and abundance into my life because that is who I am. This puts you into vibratory harmony with your Source. Your goal is to eliminate any distance between what you desire and that from which you pull it into your life. Abundance and success aren't out there waiting to show up for you. You are already it, and the Source can only provide you with what it is, and, consequently, what you are already. Step 3: Stay in an attitude of allowing. Resistance is disharmony between your desire for abundance and your beliefs about your ability or unworthiness. Allowing means a perfect alignment. An attitude of allowing means that you ignore efforts by others to dissuade you. It also means that you don't rely on your pervious ego-oriented beliefs about abundance being a part of or not a part of your life. In an attitude of allowing, all resistance in the form of thoughts of negativity or doubt are replaced with simply knowing that you and your Source are one and the same. Picture the abundance you desire freely flowing directly to you. Refuse to do anything or have any thought that compromises your alignment with Source. Step 4: Use your present moments to activate thoughts that are in harmony with the seven faces of intention [creativity, kindness, love, beauty, expansion, abundance, and peaceful receptivity]. The key phrase here is present moments. Notice right now, in this moment, if you're thinking that it's hopeless at this stage of your life to change the thoughts that comprise your belief system. Do you defeat yourself with thoughts of having had such a long life practicing affirmations of scarcity and creating |
